I’ve been around Clode and Cassidy to long / I’m a fan of skilled wingers and big 3 zone centers even if they can not be Barkov

Zacha is very good winger and he and Pastrnsk got chemistry- Marchand and DeBrusk skilled - that’s a high end top four group on top two lines

I like Geekie not sure he’s a 2 but he’s skilled - not like younger brother Conor but he is above average

Coyle is Coyle and that’s good

I thought Frederic has picked up a gear since the Trouba fight - he’s 100 % more assertive and even at center

Will be interesting to see where Poitras fits when returns

It would be nice if we could muster up some positive energy for our boys.

My neighbor and I were going to go out for an early dinner tonight, but we decided to go tomorrow instead :cheer:

All I really want to do tonight is hang out with my cats, watch the Bs and sleep.
I have reached the age that this sounds like a great night, add 2 dogs and 1 wife and I plan on following the same script. Happy New Years to all. May peace ( off the ice) and prosperity be yours in abundance this year.

Also last night’s game was the closest thing I’ve seen since games 3 and 4 in Florida where the Bruins dominated without Bergeron & Krejci

Geekie & Coyle’s big asses just were to much down low for a light Devils D

Love it - no one I would rather watch a Bruins - Flyers 1975 game with live with

I try him at RW with Coyle and Frederic back to LW. Bergeron broke in on RW and Poitras is scrappy for his size

Don't necessarily expect a win here, although the Bruins are very much capable of it. Schedule is really against them though, so the main thing I'm looking for is how the team plays - they've developed some good habits in the last couple of games, been more decisive and quick in their passing, better on the break out, better at beating out opponents to pucks in our O zone and creating repeat opportunities. Keep those sorts of things and if they ultimately run out of legs or the scoreboard otherwise winds up against them I won't mind so much.

Nonetheless, hopefully they can close out the year with at least one more point.
Wings have really cooled off . 3-7-0 in there last ten . Haven’t seen them play except against the Bruins but they don’t appear to be the same high energy team that they were earlier in the year .

Get the time machine fired up. But we are going back to the game George Plimpton played goal against the Flyers with the linch pail AC.

Not sure how Bruins dominated when they were down 2-0, outshot 33-31 and were crucified on faceoffs.

I thought they dominated. I apologize

My precise sentiment.

Officially a geezer, two of my favorite "activities" these days are sleeping and simply resting. Followed closely by propping myself up in bed, screwing around online, watching the B's and other comforting fare.

Last night, Jack said that Pasta’s shot had Chinese Mustard on it. Lol. Wonder how that tastes with fried octopus.
Fwiw, I Have had both, but not together, and I bet it's pretty good.
