While we have made progress. We're still a bottom 5 team that got hot. Still progress though.
I'm game.
I'll pin it on everyone but the anisimov line. Everyone else was horrible.
Atkinson's emergence is my primary takeaway from tonight. The kid blew me away. And on the last shift after Anisimov, Wiz, etc.. couldn't get the puck in, Atkinson just grabbed it and sped right in, and in the middle of the slot did a 180 and fed Wiz.
Enough of this tanking talk.
I don't care if we finish in the dreaded 6-14 draft slot. This team has played with pride and I'll feel good about our season when it's done. We'll still have a few (albeit weaker) chances at top players in the draft.
I'm all for trades for more picks and moving up in the draft through trade, but please no tanking. It would be dishonorable.

Streak started when Wiz went down and ended when he came back. The kids play a much tighter brand of D. Look for some trade deadline action after this fiasco
I think that is the technical definition of a coincidence. Granted, Wiz is not a good defensive defenceman. But what you saw tonight was rust in the extreme. The guy was at half-speed.

I agree. I thought not pulling Bob after the third goal in Nashville was strange. He was clearly tired and the Jackets were getting jumped. I didn't like scratching Gillies for a seventh D-man tonight. Are we going to breakup the Calvert-Anisimov-Atkinson line in Calgary for an encore of strange decisions?
Awful game tonight. A loss tomorrow and all I do is think about draft position.

I fell asleep after another wiz blunder on own redline and wake up to 4-4 just in time to see it all fall apart. 
That's a glass half-empty way of thinking! It's a cute kitten in the lap for the other team!

I've seen too many no look gaffes this season in the 50 percent of games he's played to say my perception is not reality. Not hating on him just stating my opinion. I'd prefer the kids against a speedy oiler team any day.
