A minor quibble, though actually not that minor, I'm sure everyone has noticed that they cannot break out quickly and cleanly from their own end. Griz look just spent like however much time schooling around and then setting it up to get out.

Whatever their other issues, the defense and the defensive system needs to be fixed and redrawn. It is not working.

Had some time to kill this week and decided to watch them again.

As always, I liked Fellowship of the Ring, and got bored after that.

I think the defense in front of the goaltenders is good just needs to be tightened up. But you're absolutely right about the break outs. Perhaps the defensemen should be encouraged more to bring the puck up themselves instead of looking for an open man.

Love the book, really liked the first film, same as you. Diminishing returns after that - thought TT was overall ok but ROTK was pretty awful.

Defensive play that used to be automatic. Not so much anymore. And I'm not really sure why except that from what I see, this is a matter of system. The defense has been a mess all year.

This is a coaching issue. As many of other issues are.
