The first one is on him, the last one is on him.

Fluke goal on the first. But hey if you want to blame the rookie instead of the HC who thought it would be smart to start him on the back to back against arguably the best offensive team in the league go right on ahead :sarcasm:

Yep. That's how I see it.

The way I see it he never should have been on the ice tonight

last game Curtis played he gave up 3 goals
1) Campbell turnover
2) PP goal
3) goal with this 3-3 "hockey"

No ****ing way in hell the kid should have been put out there tonight

Torts tried to get cute and he should have known better

Big time **** up Torts...big time

Well, we KNOW CMac was going to get lit up. I don't blame him for going with the unknown.

It did deflect off Foligno but it never changed the direction of the puck when it was shot. If he was screened it was only because he was way too low positioning wise
I'm watching the Dallas feed and they were saying(and it kind of looked like it but I didn't really pay attention) that Seguin's shot would have stayed on the ice. But the shot deflected up(mind you barely) after it hit Foligno. True on the screen comment though.

Pretty much my thought. I don't think anyone really thought we were gonna beat the stars anyways.

Amazing how they were pretty bad last year on D and managed to get better in one year somehow...:sarcasm: I wonder if Jarmo could call their GM and get some pointers.

When did we know this? All the sudden we've lost confidence in our most reliable backup? Sure he hasn't played well late but, he also had a long stretch of not seeing the ice at all which at his age I'm sure doesn't help keep him ready to go.

Of anybody to get lit up, we'd rather it be our rookie? Sounds like a great strategy for developing talent.

Consider me to be overly-optimistic.

lol. We're getting chances in most games, but a lot of players not finishing. I don't know it's hard for me to get to upset. This team is out of it and I still seem them working most nights. I get frustrated with some of our posters with some pretty harsh acquisitions against their character.

My god, you take what I say an go extreme. In what way am I blaming Korpisalo? I am saying he should have saved two of those goals. Would it matter if he did? Probably not, Dallas is far superior. But I keep seeing on here that Korpisalo is some hot shot goalie of the future because of his AHL numbers and strong NHL debut, all I said was maybe we should pump the breaks. I don't think he should have started tonight either, but it is what it is.

For the people still deciding whether to like Torts or not, don't bother assessing him this year. This season is lost, and he's just trying to figure out what these guys are made of. His real judgement starts next season, after his first training camp and during his first full season.

We've worked pretty hard tonight. I can agree that it's a hard team to watch, but we seem to be overly harsh and judgmental.
Yeah I agree. I'm just sick of losing, and for the first time in awhile, don't think it can be fixed any time soon.

Curtis played very well against the Isles

Campbell gave them 1 goal
1 PP goal
1 goal in 3-3 OT

Curtis should have been in net.....I've been mostly supportive of Torts but this decision tonight is atrocious.......any high school coach wouldn't have ****ed this up

I bolded the most important part of your rebuttal.

Done arguing your ridiculous back and forth shakes on players.

I will however agree with your deciding timeline of Torts. And now we can all go to bed as a miracle of agreement has been accomplished! :D

Reaching way back, Arizona Gm got them a bump, Isles the same, you can see some familiar names (Spezza, Demers, Fiddler) for Dallas as well. Our GM does not seem capable of the same. I'll always wonder if Stempniak were playing for us instead of the Pens if wouldn't have advanced 2 years ago. Kek's days are numbered...

On topic game got too rich for the Jackets when Stars made a hard push late in the second. Can't run and gun on the second night of a back to back.

Campbell puck watching on the 2nd goal, missed his man. Bodnarchuk burned on the 3rd goal, rough night. Didn't look too close at/for a/the breakdown on the fourth.

It's two or three big mistakes a game costing us. Eliminate some of this stupidity and more points will come.

Oh and the Stars are really good at stretch passes. We've only got one D that can make those passes with regularity.

I'm starting to believe we have a roster full of guys who don't hate to lose. Obviously they all don't want to lose, but hate is another level. I know Bob hates to lose. I know Dubi does. I know Hartnell does...and that's really it. Our kids seem like they have the "damn, we lost. Well, we'll get them next time." That's not what winning teams have.
