I will add that the goal against was scored off a faceoff again. Quick tends to hold pucks that are really off the mark. That shot was really wide and not a lot of pressure.

We lose the faceoff and it's in our net. Same thing with the Edmonton game we lost late.

We are lucky to only be down one this period.

Kings look slow compared to the Hawks.

Ellerby played well last game, but is off to a rough start tonight.

Yea Ellerby took a nice tumble in open ice. He's off to a pretty rough start but its not awful and honestly every king that was on the ice is responsible for that goal, not just him or quickie

Would rather have Penner on the LW. Sutter could have just switched Williams and carter.

And yet people thought wingers switching positions is easy. That's the problem I have in trying to figure out how the lineup would look with Iginla added. He's a RW, as is Carter and Williams.

According to Flames fans Iginla has played LW on the PP for years, as well as stints at even strength. Shouldn't be an issue.

As far as the game goes, throw me in the put the old lines back together camp. Toews is owning Kopitar tonight.

it happens all the time, but usually the ref only sees the stick hitting the face and the reaction. but the ref was watching the play from start to finish. disgusting call.
