And yeah, I know everyone here has a man crush on the kid, but Toffoli is completely invisible even strength. He needs more time in Manch to develop some semblance of a board game before he's ready for this team.

It allows the hawks to key on the Kopitar line. The second line has already had two outnumbered attacks and zero shots.
 
i'd like to see toffoli richards carter reunited before we banish him.

After 10 periods of watching him play second line minutes at even strength, yep. He doesn't have the experience to play the role effectively. No harm in that. His game along the boards is seriously lacking, doesn't know how to dig the puck out yet, has a hard time controlling it while it's cycled.

Who's piling on? He can't handle the role and we need to win hockey games, we have no time for any player to get babied.

And the fact that all the refs got together and talked about it made it worse. Whether you fan on a shot or actually shoot the puck and make contact on the follow through shouldnt make a bit of difference.
 
So is that call on Richards a penalty or not? Nice of these morons on NBC to not analyze that AT ALL...after all, they are ANALYSTS.....

I know it's not a high stick if it's the follow through on a shot, but what about a shot attempt?

The rule says something about it being a penalty if it's a wild swing at a bouncing puck, but that is not what this was.

So, what the hell? Penalty or not?

I must have missed the second one, but one was screwed-up by Williams trying to force a pass to Toffoli instead of making the smart play and dropping it off to one of the two trailers
 
Loving the nbc broadcast. They don't even try to be non biased. Now we get to watch **** about a guy who has a whopping 12 points but he gets a profile done on him? **** you nbc.

It's not hate at all, nothing like what some of you do with Quick. He will go back to Manchester, he will come back a much better player at the start of next season. It's not like anyone's giving up on him and saying the kid will never make it in the NHL.
 
All I know is that this team had better score a goal today... Sad, when your primary objective falls to just scoring one goal.
 
If some of you are looking at Toffoli as the answer to the Kings' scoring woes, you're looking at the wrong place. The top guns are supposed to carry the load offensively, and they've done zilch of late. The fourth line badly out performed the top two lines, and it's been a trend over the past couple games.

1969 was the only time the kings were shut out in three straight.

Kings finally get into the top ten for scoring, Sutter praises Kopitar and the kings can't score anymore. :cry:
 
The only time I'd really say he's not ready is if he's holding a line back. But top 6 has sucked so it's inconclusive to me
