Haven’t even heard Barzals name tonight. Short stint as a star. Never mind he’s still putting up good points.

That's not how that works , we can develop while still hoping the lottery gods hand us a no-fail elite piece. Chicago's rebuild is far from over but adding Bedard has already fast tracked the rebuild as a piece that's nearly impossible to acquire via trade.

Hopefully our young players keep developing chemistry but there's no harm in wishing for a top 2 pick in a solid draft. Especially since this team is a solid 2 years away from being a playoff team and 3++ (depending on trades and development) years away from contending for a cup. (In terms of expectations).

I would bring up the fact the Isles are on the second of a back-to-back as they played last night. But that shouldn't matter because so far this year, Habs have yet to beat a team who is on the second of a back-to-back.

Yeah not trying to take anything away from our boys, just saying the isles have played better, no arguing that.
