I liked the Coyotes. Cool jerseys and logos. Made Canadians mad along with the other southern teams. Soft spot for teams having big financial issues (Post Traumatic Devils Fan Disorder, thanks Vanderbeek.) . Think they were my "second team", honestly.

Utah sucks because their owner is a dorky software billionaire who got rich off of the worst piece of software ever and they don't have an actual name. Utah Hockey Club is a garbage name. The names they're voting about are almost worse.

The kachina jersey should never have died for the store-brand hockey team.

This team is pretty fast. They're not good, but they're fast.

And we're not fast. The only time we look particularly fast is when we're playing Nashville or Pittsburgh.

We may not be slow, but we certainly aren't at all fast.

I find all the hate weird too. I honestly don't give two shits about them any way you slice it and don't understand why any Devils fan would either.

The Utah/Coyote hate on here has always been utterly bizarre to me. They were a struggling franchise with a small fanbase, a fanbase which went through a lot and got their team taken away.

I feel bad for them, not sure how one can hate

for me i enjoy having teams i can laugh at...also the years of gary trying to keep them alive got annoying when we all knew it was a failure.

All of the embarrassing losses to them over the years, along with the Blue Jackets probably made me snap.

Including BOTH games last year. Shootout loss in game 2 of the season and an embarrassing blowout loss late in the year in Arizona.

I feel bad for the fans in Arizona, sure. And they probably HATE the team now too, unless they followed their fandom over there.

Let me make this clear, I’m not someone who rooted for Arizona to be relocated. I know I said to just rip the band aid off and get them out of there because it was inevitable they were going to be moved. But I didn’t root for them to be relocated.

I hate them equally as much whether they’re in Arizona or Salt Lake City.

I don't even care anymore. We probably need trades just to hang on. I think there's a better chance of actually fixing things in the offseason than at the trade deadline.

This really is the toughest part of their schedule. Away games vs Avs, Stars and Knights and then go home and host the Jets. They will have two games against the Jackets after that that give them the ability to take care of their own business.
