Sakic knew what he was giving away, he isn't a dummy
What’s Barron’s problem — is he pouting? Thinks he’s too good for the AHL? He’s skilled but his attitude may be questionable and if it is, I don’t know how you fix that.

He will be humbled

Primeau was good.

34 saves. Good for Laval

Yep. Still not a bust....but I'm not holding my breath.

Would have taken a 1st and a lesser prospect...like Helleson. Though Helleson might already be better...

Would have preferred a 1st too. 2024 1st over a 2nd. Helleson is definitely better.

We'll see how the year goes, but if Jets want Barron for Dubois I'd say yes. Mailloux is a much better prospect.

That’s an interesting possibility with his brother Morgan already with the Jets.

Just not getting the impression that Justin is hungry enough. Him being lackadaisical was a comment I saw more than once while he was at the Habs’ camp.

Where does that come from?

He was good when we got him last year. His season ended up with what looked like a pretty bad ankle injury.

This year he had a bad camp, and apparently still plays bad. Doesn’t sound like pouting to me…. Either he’s still recovering, or he’s not ready.

Or he’s not great right now for whatever reason is going on in his life. Who knows?

He just seems soft and never really just goes at anything. Like, watch Guhle on the puck, he's a pitbull. I watch Barron and it's like.. ho hum, whatevs. Maybe i'm judging him too hard since I've been a Guhle homer for a couple years.
