This is why I hate NHL coaches. The second a young player makes a mistake he sits for a scrub that sucks. This is f***ing unreal. This better be a rest thing and not a punishment for that one goal against. He did a good job overall yesterday. I just don't understand this.

Hajek isn't even a tough D-man that looks gritty. Gallant is playing him simply because Jones is young.

It's one of my concerns with Laf/Kakko when it comes to Gallant. They look great in the top 6. Will Gallant move them back down to the 3rd after 1 bad period/game? Probably. I guess we'll see.

A 21year old defenseman doesn't have a perfect game so he should be scratched. Way to build his confidence. Forget the positives he had with great first passes and mostly good positioning. And a great game against Tampa the game before last night... but one not perfect game that doesn't cost the team a win, and he's scratched.

I can't wait for Hajek to score 3 goals but the Rangers kose 4-3 and everyone still blames Hajek.

Look, we all know hes not one of our best 6 defensemen, but if its going to take putting him in there a couple times early in the year on back-to-backs for them to realize they need a better 7thD, then so be it. Hajek wans't one of our 7 last playoffs, I'm willing to bet he won't be these coming playoffs either.
