Not Hajek. He was on for all four goals against and took a delay-of-game penalty with less than three minutes to play in the third. Add to that, he kept on wearing other defensemens uniforms.

Died last ten minutes, good start to the season, Rangers are good and fun to watch, exciting first week.

Hajek/Schneider were the disaster that everyone knew they would be. Schneider isn’t some vet that can carry a third pair, at least Jones can skate.

They played pretty well for their 3rd home opener in 4 days. Had a chance to take the game over in the 2nd but Hellebyuck stole it. Still lots to like. The team can come home, rest all weekend then fatten up on a fairly soft 4 game homestand(did we have one that long all of last year?)

NYR always seem to have a messed up opening schedule. It feels like it goes back to when MSG was stuck finishing renovations. No one told the NHL that's long since done

Just one of those games , the team dominated for long stretches had some great chances and unfortunately could not cash in on any of them .....The wheels did kind of come off after they tied it , think they will be alright
