Nah it was a great pass. Anderson had all the space to fake a shot and make a pass for an easy goal. Guys like Crosby, McJesus, Rantanen, Aho, Panarin, Kucherov, .......... receive that pass and they give it back after faking a play and it's an easy goal. [edit] He could also have faked a pass and shot. He basically had all the space to make a play and he did not fake anything he just did a Gallagher.

it's funny you say that because I was thinking it. A return pass would have been a tap in.

Shit, Strombo was supposed to take over? I usually watch it in french but that would have been a much better alternative than keeping Maclean.

I loved Strombo and he would have been amazing had they given him the opportunity to grow into the job. They’ve allowed far lesser talents on their broadcasts since then, some of them truly abhorrent sorts but no, ditch a talent like Strombo. Clueless.

OT, I met George once at a pop up for Parro's wife. I got to talk to him for a few minutes. I told my wife that his name was "George Snugglupagus". So when it was time for us to meet him. She says "Oh your last name is the same as the character from Sesame Street?" George laughed and said "I wish, he probably makes more money than I do." Great guy, very humble considering how popular he is.

Hoffman's a funny player. He "looks" like he's skilled. He's even engaged most of the time. But, he just sucks. Like, at everything.

Has father time caught up to the caps? I haven't watched their first 2 losses, but its not looking impressive tonight. Still extremely early obviously, but will an old team be able to turn it up as the season goes on?
