Yet all we heard were boomers complaining that George Stroumboulopoulos’ pants were too tight. He was far better than anyone else.

They weren’t « boomers » (ageism, much?), they were uncultivated viewers of poor taste. You can find them across a wide spectrum of age groups.

I loved Strombo and he would have been amazing had they given him the opportunity to grow into the job. They’ve allowed far lesser talents on their broadcasts since then, some of them truly abhorrent sorts but no, ditch a talent like Strombo. Clueless.
