I love the effort to make this a possession and pressure team rather than a dump and hit team. Takes a while to change that.
Thats the third breakaway where the Hawks defender just jumps on top of our forward. You'd think once it would've been called.
And to think, some Blackhawks fan was trolling Portzline on Twitter, complaining about what he thought was a soft call against Chicago.Seriously! Bet your ass if the roles were reversed, there would be a call.
Long shift is long.
Went to the bathroom when that shift was going on. Came back and the shift was still going on. Took the trash out and came back. Shift was still going on. Hard-boiled an egg. Shift was still going on.

Youre just helping my case, the typical delusional cbj fan. He hasn't surpassed anything, We drafted him and expected him to reach 1D status. (That is why you draft someone, you think they have the potential and greatest chance of reaching it, otherwise draft someone else) he is on the second pairing on one of the worst teams in the league.. please tell me how he has passed any expectations. Its great to see him doing well and getting points but he has so much to learn in his own zone. He got beat for the last goal, and gave away the puck for a goal last game but nobody wants to focus on anything neg.
Major i really don't know what to tell you, whatever argument or point i make i'm sure you have some reason for why i'm wrong or how you think differently. I'm just saying pump the breaks, Filatov looked great in his first few starts too.(not saying Werenski will not pan out)
im just so tired of hearing how "prospect X" will be a 20 goal scorer, a #1 dman, whatever it is. Lets let them actually become "Elite" or a #1dman before we label them as such.
I said so far.
And I think this might be confusion over the word "expect". You never expect to see this much this quickly from a d taken at #8.
I like discussing prospects and potential. I have never called Werenski an elite d-man, or even a #1 or #2. Potential elite is a very defensible claim. I think you are reading something else into my words.
I'm stuck at work so I can't watch the game.
How has Sedlak looked so far?
Hey look another elbow...
Good enough for me to start referring to him in the lineup over Gagner and Campbell as "Once again, Howson fixing someone else's mistake".
