I know it's just a 4th line, but Canada's 4th line... they don't even know where each other are on the ice. They're not even passing or cycling the puck to each other.

It's like:

Step 1. Skate to offensive zone corner
Step 2. Center pass between the circles to nobody in particular
Step 3. Backcheck

repeat
Which one is the 4th line

Frost is a great example of leaving a player in junior even though they dominated junior the year before.

Second in league scoring last year, some might think he has nothing left to learn in junior, but he’s again second in league scoring and is now given a chance to play in the WJC and build his confidence further.

When he hits the NHL he’s going to come out swinging.

Flyers fans hope you are right as they have a hole at C if they move Giroux to wing again.

I hear criticism of Tippett and his mediocre defense and not using teammates. His #1 weakness is clearly not moving his feet.

Frost
Patrick
Coots
Giroux.

Look Claude we know you're a hall of famer but you're the best 4th best center on this team.

Flyers fans are also happy he wasn't subjected to the torture of being a skilled young player under Dave Hakstol.

He was much better off in the OHL this year.

I like how their skill thing at intermission is showing how to turn your back on a player and get your career ended.

Intensity was not there in the three pre-tournament games, at all. I can certainly assess that.

I thought they were sloppy although that tends to happen against weak opposition. I like getting this game out of the schedule to start the tournament.

Second line C is the perfect starting slot for him as he can start using his skill right away, opposed to working his way up through the lineup where he would have to focus on checking and defense first.

I’m a fan of putting higher skilled prospects into situations where they can succeed right away.

Doesn't Frost not being in Philly also save him from having to be protected in the expansion draft too? Major factor in the decision earlier this year.
