That's clear onside, no clue how the commentator don't understand how offside work. Took them a commercial to figure it out. It was delayed offside but they tagged up before the played it

To be fair to Ray during his entire career that was offside, though that was nearly 20 years ago.

Loved the crowd cheering for McIsaac’s effort.

Hope it’s just a minor stinger and he’s okay.

Wouldn’t be opposed to them sitting him the rest of the game and maybe getting a bit of rehab in so he’s good to go for the rest of the tournament. He deserves to play.

It’s all the same.
If Tippett knocked the puck ahead with his stick and the puck crossed the line the same time as the original play , it would have been offside. But seeing it went off his body , the offside deferes to his body ? . Is that the scoop ..sorry , bit confusing for an old timer .

It doesn’t matter how the puck enters the zone (body/stick/skate) as long as he doesn’t touch it until the other player tags up and negates the pending offside call.

I don’t know what to make of that period.

I don’t think we played poorly......however I don’t think we played particularly well either.

I know it's just a 4th line, but Canada's 4th line... they don't even know where each other are on the ice. They're not even passing or cycling the puck to each other.

It's like:

Step 1. Skate to offensive zone corner
Step 2. Center pass between the circles to nobody in particular
Step 3. Backcheck

repeat
