Impatient management and impatient fans don't realize that drafting and developing from scratch (basically zero prospect pool when the took over) takes time.

The one legit thing he did wrong was refusing to fire Hakstol. Otherwise we have a LOT to thank him for.

I know some here are saying this is kind of sad to see such a 1 sided game, but it kind of has to happen. Remember back when the Swiss and Germany got blown out every game? IMHO the best way for them to get better is to play the best and learn from them on the ice. They will learn more in this tournament than they would if they had been relegated and playing all teams worse than them. Then get some top notch, world class coaching for the kids over there and off they will go.
