Yeah, my family immigrated to Canada when I was 10 and I encounter te sports of hockey at 12. I’ve been missing this gem for 12 years simply because I was from a different part of the world

Growing up in a NY suburb it was not a widely advertised sport. You sort of fell into it if you enjoyed recreational skating. Be glad you discovered it!! It’s a joy to watch when it is played well.

I also imagine there would be other implications, like the fans who paid to see a game of hockey, and then it's over like halfway through. Plus the broadcasters, I couldn't imagine it's overly tenable.

Same reason you shouldn't take pride in playing men vs boys or men vs women.

You think this helps hockey in demark?

1. Why would Hockey Canada care about hockey in Denmark?
2. I don't think they are taking "pride" in winning the game 14-0. I believe they care more about the 0 than the 14.
3. It's disrespectful to not give 100% of your effort in pro sports. It screams "yeah I know you're inferior and won't even try hard against you.".
