As proven by Arizona, beating the teams that you're supposed to beat is actually not so easy. I hope the Canes will hold on, but they look good so far against a Seattle team that actually has decent offensive pieces.

So far during regular season, staal/fast/Stats has been a touch out of synch…. Not sure if it is staal and fast being less tight or if it is just Stats himself and figuring out how to fit in… they looked good in preseason so maybe that was a false sense of security? Both on his own line and on his pp time it’s like Stats just isn’t quite in the right spot or makes the move we expect so it breaks things up as they guys aren’t sure how to link with Stats… thats the only thing has me a bit worried so far this year….

Aho line is really quiet for stretches….and Turbo has not been typical Turbo at all… he looked downright bad at points and Jarvis looked to be carrying Turbo and the line…. But after being absent and super quiet for stretches, bam and then they kick in a key goal….so overall they are fine and I’m sure they will get more dominant in stretches as we go along…

but we got an unexpected bonus last year with how well the staal line played and how Nino chipped in some key offense… so far the new line with Stats on the wing just hasnt seemed as natural and in synch….. will take some time…. Hope they figure it out and it becomes more instinctual….. it’s not there yet though for sure…

otherwise we are playing so well so far this year….

ive noticed that as well. He definitely looks smoother and faster as well as better accelerating.

Looking ahead to Edmonton and Calgary those games will be tough but these Kraken usually play a good third come close but lose at the very end.
