Thornton should've never been on the top line, and Bogosian should've never played unless a 7th D. This isn't a "let's wait and see", it was always dumb.

Lehtonen sitting on his bday is pathetic. If it was Babcock doing it, people would call for his head (rightfully so).

This is getting ridiculous. Why the f*** did we get Lehtonen, the best defenseman from Europe???

The management probably intends on giving him 20 games this year so he doesn't cost much in the offseason.
I hope he leaves for a better situation.
Tore up the KHL, played exceptionally well in the scrimmages, just to end up in Keefe's doghouse undeservedly.

Sitting on his birthday is an issue? Are these kids we're talking about?

Only option to get Lehtonen in at this point would be sitting Robertson and going 11 and 7.

Maybe I’m seeing it too literally, but when you say doghouse, did something happen between them?

Yea, just like people were upset with Speeza sitting on opening night - is he a kid? You don't sign the best player outside the NHL to be sitting games, good way to burn future bridges.

Yea that's the problem. It should've never been the only option. Lehtonen should've been playing from the start.
 
After seeing how upset Matthews was last night and him not scoring in the first two I put a bet on him scoring at least 2 tonight. At x5 payout I think it’s a relatively safe bet lol

The Leafs would have to send someone through waivers to call him up. He isn't 16 it is just a day.
