None of our defencemen are faultless. Harris brings above average mobility to our back end which he uses to interdict opposing forwards skating through the neutral zone and attempted passes in defensive zone. Harris’ superior skating ability allows him to transport the puck from our defensive zone and to support our forwards. He’s not a physical player but neither are a host of other smallish defencemen who are currently thriving for other teams in the NHL. Xhekaj, who brings toughness, intimidation and an elite shot still has trouble making the right defensive decisions. And, as can be seen watching Laval’s games, he remains a turnover liability.
I think other teams value Harris higher than many posters here. That appreciation will turn Harris into a valuable trading chip this year or the next.
I think he's a dime a dozen dman, a bit bigger version of Mete, nothing more. For some reason I really don't like him, I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm just unable to swing my opinion on the guy. He's really weak on the puck, panic's under pressure and his shot is laughable. I think you can find a Jordan Harris anywhere , on any team in the NHL in their prospect pools. There aren't many Arbs around though, from what I see.
I tried to like the kid, but I don't see anything special here at all. we will have to agree to disagree on this one
