Had quite a bit of money on you guys tonight. Anyone know where I can send the giant, glitter covered cardboard heart that I just made Sergei Brobosky?

You guys must be pretty stoked right now, he has franchise goalie written all over him.

Solid win tonight folks, jackets defense reminded me a lot of the Coyotes when we went to the conference finals last year and in a way Bob reminded me of Mike Smith last year too. Good luck the rest of the season and in the east next year; you guys have been playing some really good hockey lately.

lol what a horrible game to watch, i couldve written the script on this before it even started. not complaining tho...

I looked over at my roommate in the first period and said, this game is going 0-0 to a shootout. You could tell from the faceoff.

I really thought our best skater was Moore. Guy looked like he hasnt missed a game.

I missed the whole game except for OT and shootouts. What happened? Were the chances as lopsided as the shots? Who were our standouts, who had a bad game?

I think we had just as much real good scoring chances(mostly, if not all in the first) as the Coyotes did. But it seemed like the Blue Jackets stopped getting decent chances in the third. I thought for sure Phoenix was going to score in the third. But overall game play, Phoenix controlled it.

ALso, we allowed 39 shots in the game but after two periods, they had 14 blocked shots. The Coyotes announcers lost track of the stats after the third but felt it was most likely in the 20 range. Felt the team did a good job of protecting the net and having most shots from the outside and not close range. As for who was good and who was bad, I will let someone else answer as I'm not great at "scouting".

Also, what is it, 10 of the last 11 games in OT?

Letestu is a very well spoken player. He could have a career on TV after his career is over.

I don't think any CBJ player was bad... a few miscues here and there, RJ had zero shots.. Letestu and Folingo led in offensive ice time... The best player was Bob obviously.

You didn't miss much. I'm considering only turning in for the OT and SO.

Your question as to the standouts were and who had a bad game gives me a perfect segue to a thought I had during the game. On defense everyone, imo, had a good game; on offense they all sucked. To me that is the blessing and the curse of this team, Someone gets hurt you replace him with a clone;on the other hand there are no standouts who can carry a team. Hard to argue with the results of the last 10 games but to me this is still a team that needs some significant reshaping.

Oh, and Bob was outstanding. He could be our goalie for the foreseeable future. Not that he will have the stats he is piling up now but he seems to be a real deal.

Bob is amazing, also, in a league this close with so many OT/Shootout games having a guy like Anisimov can be a huge difference

Johan got benched late in the game fwiw. Anisimov was strong as was Brassard. Moore looked great after not appearing to be very good earlier in the season imo. I like him with Erixon. This team's willingness to block shots is nice to see.
