Well the Canucks beat another bad team.

Predictable. Yesterday the Canucks couldn't beat a "good" NYR with their 26 pts in 26 games but today they beat a "bad" CAR with 25 pts in 26 games.

Oh well, it was nice to see some timely goaltending to preserve the lead; haven't seen enough of that this year. Lack definitely could've been better on the goals, but he turned away the next 22 shots to win the game.

We need more players getting hit by a slap shot on the back of the head. Seems to wake up Kesler. Hopefully, Kassian gets it next game.

Edler only played 20 minutes today. Lesson learned, I hope.

Anyone with an idea how the cut in time affects his Corsi Rel QoC? I guess there is no statistic up right now, but appr. He has had (have?) the highest Corsi Rel QoC on the D, but it might change. I.e not just cut ToI, but also lower Corsi Rel QoC.

We scored 3 goals in a game this year and responded with a goal after allowing 2 goals in 10 seconds. Haven't said that enough this year.

Hopefully they build off this game.

I hope they roll with Lack until he loses, and keep Kassian eating popcorn until someone plays themselves off the roster. Team needs a dose of accountability.

It is kinda silly, but after the win I went to go look at their record to see if this is finally another regulation win against a +.500 team (which would be, I think their 4th?) But no, Carolina was under .500 by 1 game; d'oh! Oh well.

We've had one of the tougher schedules in the NHL thus far so gotta pick up these points during this weaker run, even if it doesn't re-instill confidence that we can beat the big boys.

Kesler had a great game.

However, I find it laughable posters come out and try to deflect all of the criticism after this 2 goal game.

Prior to this game he had 1 goal in 11 games. He still deserves the criticism.

Truth trolling, I like it.

Gotta keep "people" honest

Agreed about the goaltending this game. Would have been really easy to fault Bieksa off that faceoff but instead Lack came up with the stops. Stopped some tough ones on the Richardson penalty too.

Lack looked a bit shaky to start and slow to react at times (as he did in NY) but it could just be timing since he hasn't played in forever. I know its touchy since we're handcuffed to Luongo, but Lack needs to get more starts.
