Eichel missed the Vegas game in Boston. He Pietrangelo has been out for the last week for personal reasons. The Rangers could catch a break if one or both players don't play tonight.

They beat the Bruins without them. They are probably the deepest most talented team in the league so yeah getting a break would be good but still going to be a tough game.How they are not above the cap is mind boggling but I guess they got a break with Logan Thompsons development (and Lehner's convenient injury lol ). Personal reasons ??????......does that usually mean a family member with health issues ?

I hope I am wrong but I think it is almost a guarantee Kreider is back with Mika much much sooner rather than later. I just hope somehow Vesey isn't moved back to the RW and leave Kakko there like for at least a 20-25 game stretch. Is that too much to ask for?

I just hope Gallant sticks with the new lines and gives them a legitimate shot to stay together but more importantly, that the players don't give him and reason to change them up quickly. It's just as much on the players to seize the moment as it is on Gallant to keep them together. If Laf and Kakko come out with no energy, you're giving Gallant a reason to make a change. Don't give him any reason.
