He may be an RFA at the end of the year, but if Demers is not traded, I would not be surprised to see him hold out or demand a trade if he thinks he can get away with it. The Sharks are totally screwing him when it comes to playing time.

If he's not traded, expect a contract that includes no UFA years. He's going to want out as soon as possible at this rate.
