Pastrnak is a star player already. I prefer him over Seguin already.

Carlo over Hamilton also.

Bruins should have won 7-2 tonight.

Gotta agree, well said makes me feel better about the whole thing. The fact we got Pasta late in the 1st and Carlo in the 2nd should shut the other teams up our drafting. Some GMs should be asking their scouts why they missed on OUR guys.

Another great win. Pasta goal was something else. So clutch.

Still unbeaten this year leading after two (11-0-0).
Unbeaten in December with 3-0-0.
Five games point streak with 4-0-1.
Now in 3rd in the division. 1pt back Ott.

Keep it up B's!

hahha just so obvious Clode doesnt like Spooner.

I get he doesnt consistently bring it every night but man...Clode seems...again Im not in the locker room, but it just seems Clode goes a lot harder on Spooner for his consistency issues than some of the other forwards and their consistency issues.

There are LOTS of bruins that could be called out for consistency issues.

But none are more frustrating than Spooner because of Spooner's skill and skating are both among the best on the team.

Ya I guess that is the angle...going harder on Spooner because you expect more from such a skilled guy.

Guess that makes sense.

Just saying...Nash...Czarnik..both have done a whole lot of nothing for a while now, Hayes of course could be called out almost every night. Beleskey. Lot's of forwards have consistency issues...atleast Spooner can bring offense.

Mcquaid?

Either way it seems like Spooner is responding well and this is yet another good game for him, very happy about how he responded to being put on the 4th line and working his way back up.

Don't think trading him for a mid round pick is the right move as some here were calling for.

Maybe this will ease up some of the ridiculous Spooner hate ive seen in the trade proposal threads.

+pasta(duh),Spooner,Schaller(still to high in the lineup), Krejci is keeping up his return to form, Backes fire,Rask
-McQ, Hayes is meh

Spooner needs to play with fast creative players it's why he has looked best with pasta, czarnik etc. Maybe a third of Schaller-Spooner-Czarnik clode trusts those two wings with pp duty. Move nash to the fourth and give heinen another shot at dk's wing.

Difference is expectations. And I think Julien sent a great message to Spooner last week. It's up to him now.
The world is littered with talented people who can't put in the work or find consistency and take their work to the next level.
Most everyone who posts here probably has that. Or we've worked with them. Or we have kids and have had to lay down the law or hand them the responsibility for their actions.

If Spooner becomes the player he can be, it's because of Julien, not in spite of him.

well judging by the interview, sounds like he realizes all that and am very happy he has responded so well the last few games.

Kid is only 24 and confidence is his number 1 issue...if he plays with confidence we see how good he can be.

People here were going on and on about how even when he was playing good he wasnt all that impressive..like if you go back and read some of the Spooner hate it was crazy haha so I guess I was trying to post some reasonable pro-Spooner stuff to balance some of the negative out cause it just seemed silly.

I personally don't even like Spooner as a player all that much but have watched him a bunch in Providence and very happy to see him doing well again at NHL level. Hope for the best and if bruins do decide to trade him it's for something good because I do think he'll continue to develop into a good 50-60 point player.

I like that lineup a lot, I would replace Nash with Beleskey, let Beleskey get his game going on the 4th line see how he does, Nash the extra forward, Hayes traded or waived (sent to AHL).

I like Spooner a lot and I think some of the trade proposals I've seen of late seriously are missing out on what he can bring to whatever team he's on. The kid is frustrating at times, but he's talented and I'd wager to say that talent doesn't go unnoticed by opposing team's GMs.

Schaller an oddity in that he appears to play worse when he gets some confidents.

Spooner's best game this season.

Say goodbye, Blidh.

Four defensemen play over 20 minutes, Kevan Miller only plays 15+ and is on the ice for all 3 Bruins goals in regulation. Mr. Lucky strikes again.

Pastrnak is a star player already. I prefer him over Seguin already.

Carlo over Hamilton also.

Bruins should have won 7-2 tonight.

My thoughts exactly I agree with all of this. The Bruins had a lot of great chances, Spooner, Bergy and Marchand missed 2-3 good chances each we could have won this one by 5 or 6 goals.

I love Carlo , already as a rookie much better than an overpaid Dougie Hamilton. Also agree about Pasta being better than Sequin and I really like Seguin still, but Pastrnak just wants the puck and you can see he loves to score and just drives to the net, the kind of player we have needed for so long, he and Seguin here together would have been electric. When you look at the prospects we have at all levels, Vladar, O'Gara, Arnesson, Heinen, Cehlarik. Debrusk, JFK, Hughes, Bjork, McAvoy, Lindgren, Frederic, Senyshen, Gabrielle, Steen and the young guys we have now and Vatrano coming back, the future looks very bright.

Only guys tonight that had rough games, Nash looked a bit lost out there, Hayes well he was not great, but not horrible and McQuaid should sit he can't keep up with the play, put Morrow back in.

Two guys some of us picked on a bit, Schaller and Spooner had very good games, as did Bergeron, Marchand, Backes, Carlo and Krug. Pastrnak what can you say, he is the steal of the 2014 draft.
