Something interesting that will be lost in the disappointment and 20 other crazy things about that game: With a minute and a half left, Hertl gained the zone and 1000% just flipped the puck over the glass on purpose to take advantage of the new(er) rule. I’ve never seen that before and that won them the game

San Jose just f***ing won a game 5-4 in OT where they were down 4-1. Do you need a bigger f***ing prep message than that?

Yeah, I’m not trying to pass blame. Just acknowledge a unique, smart play that contributed to the tying goal. It wasn’t THE thing, but it was a big play for them

Yup - and having these brainfart moments where the team is lost - that's mostly on coaching.

Fowards did their job. The defense was atrocious and Husso needs to go. We're the highest scoring team in the league but just can't keep the puck out of the net. They've blown a ridiculous amount of leads it seems.

I sincerely hope Lalonde has a good mentor in his ear. He has some growing to do.
