Horrible evening for me. Boston Pizza, Turtle Jacks, Fionn MacCool's, Moxie's, and a couple of local sports bars, were affected by the regional blackout. Wild Wing randomly had the game on, but we couldn't order any food because they discontinued a lot of food items and didn't update the physical menu's. We ended up going to a Kelsey's across the street because on the phone they said the game was playing but when we got there the blackout hit them too.

Only latter half of the first and the 2nd period. Going back to the ever reliable reddit streams for games

You must have hated our run in 2017 with Guy Boucher's 1-3-1.

Well, there were some things that Boucher's teams did that year that I really appreciated. Most noteworthy were the breakouts, which were very structured and cohesive. They also made smart decisions with the puck -- rarely turned it over in the neutral zone or at the offensive blueline.

It was the year after the run, 2017/2018 that became really painful. Boucher clearly didn't think he had the talent on the backend to make good breakouts and they started just flipping the puck out all the time.

Yeah oil up some soft shells and put them on the pan until they start to get golden.

Or you can fold them over and put them in the oven too

The best is the layered tacos though. Get the hard ones and soft ones.

Put some cheese on the soft ones and pop the hard ones in the oven as well as the soft ones. Once the cheese melts, you take them out and put the soft ones cheese down over the tipi'd hard shells.

That way as you eat it and the hard shell cracks, the soft shell keeps it all like a net. No messes.

We need to score on our chances. With the talent we have, there really is no excuse for not scoring on one of our 5 PP opportunities, we had over 8 mins of man advantage, and only managed 3 shots on net against one of the worst PK teams in the league.

The team is double clutching on it's chances, and overpassing, confidence isn't there. We need to get that ball rolling.

Hopefully this win jumpstarts the process. Ullmark has looked really good in the last few games, Norris seems to be getting back to form.

One thing about Sandy/Kleven. They both looked really good at the beginning of the season. I read/heard somewhere that SS said in an interview that the coaches were going to implement a new D structure in steps to not overwhelm them. I wonder what the latest step was. Are they overthinking which then leads to bad decisions or bad play? Some of Sandy's gaffes can't all be put at Hamonic's feet. He added 20lbs in the off-season. Shouldn't he be better at boxing out, playing physical?

Is it Hamonic that has broken Sandy or is it the new D system being implemented or is Sandy overthinking which leads to delays resulting in bad decisions or bad plays? On a final note, I know many say pair Sandy with Jensen which is hilarious in some ways. So the two $8M LD need to play with the $4M RD to play well. Go figure.
