I mean even if it is a penalty, you know they won't call it after missing the Chiarot penalty.

Even if that’s a penalty we still had a goal lead with 10 minutes to go. Yet another blown lead under lalonde. I now only trust yzerman with 1 single thing, and that’s drafting. His pro scouting is terrible, his contracts in FA are terrible, he makes wtf trades now, and he refuses to address a clear problem behind the bench. Something needs to change.

I wanted to be mad at that non call but it really looks like Cat just fell while being leaned on. It was a good non call.
Either make a few moves or start shipping bodies so we dont end up with pick 9 again f*** and use the assets in the off season to fix this team
Cat-Compher is a horrible OT pair anyway.

Felt like that was a missed call at the end. Officiating has been horrendous this year around the league. No consistency. Chiarot high stick was a miss, so they were probably making it even.
Nonetheless, we see Compher in OT before Kasper who was buzzing around all night.
I’m not an NHL calibre coach or anything, but I’m putting on the best forwards who can score in OT, not a straight line skater who can’t do much else.
Would be very happy on Thursday to not see Lalonde behind the bench in Ottawa.

Yeah they looked slow, got a couple goals from the point/tipped and like you said Wings couldn't put them away.
Kasper no goal is still annoying me.
lol there’s no way we end up as high as 15th. There is zero way we dig ourselves out of the bottom 10. Teams like Buffalo, Anaheim, and even San Jose are looking more put together than us. It’s just a matter of whether we pick top 5 or top 10 at this point.
