Jump on after rolling over them for a shift, get the puck high with guys in front with momentum to the net - why not try a blind reverse touch pass to a player not remotely expecting it? Even if it landed there was no lane to shoot from the point whatsoever there. High, high risk, literally zero chance at reward.

So Skinner was playing the pass and simultaneously left hive 5 hole wide open. All he had to do was simply bank it in off his pads. Skinner has the reaction time of a turtle with arthritis lol.

Great start to the game. Dominating extended o-zone shift goes odd man run for distance the other way on an awful Draisaitl cutesy touch at the blueline. Bouchard makes a good play using the Nurse Zamboni flop but puck farts out back to the Knight attempting a cross net front pass and buries it past a befuddled Skinner.

O zone mistake, lengthy odd man rush and no save. Oil deserved better. But here they are... once again chasing Vegas.
