This team can't score! This has been a issue for years! As much as I hate it if we miss the playoffs, looking likely, trade Kesler, Bieksa and Burrows and time to retool. This team plays hard but so does Calgary, this core is not good enough.

To my knowledge, we've only had 3 wins this month...yikes. Last month we bagged 9.

3-4-3, god awful record for November standards

They're two ****ing different things.

Your inability to discuss anything about Luongo in any more depth than 'Nya nya our offense sucks worse!!!' makes you obnoxious and unreadable as a poster.

It's not rocket science that we might be struggling offensively AND not be getting good enough goaltending, either.

My sentiment as well.

Our offense is terrible right now AND those were two softies. Can't remember the last time Lou was better than the goalie at the other end.

First two periods were competitive atleast. First half of the third was garbage though.
NEED. MORE. SCORING.

Cantpucks lose again, Burrows more snakebitten than Higgins has ever been, nobody else can put the puck in the net either.

Lose the game in 9 seconds, every goalie against us deserves the Vezina. Second goal was a softie by Luongo and he was still the second star, Canucks make every goalie look like a god.

Luongo let in 1 bad goal tonight, but made several great saves, especially in the 1st period. He posted a 0.931 SVP tonight for all the box score stat watchers. Luongo wasn't the reason we lost. The reason we lost was because, once again, we couldn't score more than one damn goal.

To blame goaltending is like saying the reason the car crashed was not due to faulty breaks, it was because the drivers seat wasn't made out of leather.

Luongo was good tonight, but he was outplayed by the other goaltender again. Seems like we say that a lot.

One thing's for sure, Hawks are a much better skating team from top to bottom. Canucks have taken a few steps back in the speed department the last few seasons.

 And that is why MS is correct. Thanks.

Those saying Burrows suck are doing nothing more than stat-scouring. He's been all over the puck, winning battles and getting into the dirty places on the ice. Just can't find the back of the net.

Agree completely....the guy is snakebitten, but he's busting his ass and not getting rewarded. I'd be more annoyed if he wasn't getting any chances at all...he'll get off the schneid soon and the goals will come.

Good would be a stretch. He was average, as usual, and the opposing goalie was better, as usual.

he's a great 3rd liner just like most of the team.

Sedins looked like garbage. Their passing game has gone in the toilet over the last couple of weeks.

And yet another game where the opposition gets spotted a couple of goals. Make that only 3 of 25 games this year where the Canucks have kept the other team to fewer than 2 GF. Contrast that with last year where they did it 19 times in 48 games (40% of the time).

Gillis is a lame duck in my opinion. Our top 6 consists of the Sedins, Kesler, Santorelli, Higgins, Burrows.

Higgins and Santorelli are clearly not top 6 forwards. This is a team with cup aspirations, you can't just sit back when you don't have the roster to compete. Make a ****ing move!

Sure, but it doesn't refute the fact he's playing well, far from being an "awful" player.

He's not playing awful, but he doesn't look like a guy that you would pay $4.5 mil. He really needs to boost his play, he's just not scoring.

In all of our losses in this losing stretch, we scored a single goal.

Getting Vezina goaltending from Luongo would've gotten us maybe an extra win or two. would still look like an ugly record. he's not a top 10 goalie anymore, but don't act like the team would be doing much better if Lu was rocking a .930+.
