Wonder what the Flames players did during their free time in LA.

ok not to be "one of those fantasy guys" but the guy im going against tonight has Jeff Carter and ive got Dustin Brown...if we could see a bit of a role reversal, ya know...maybe Brown finds his offensive game and scores a couple goals while Carter cools off, that'd be real helpful. Either way, bigger picture...Lets get another win tonight!
Kings should get another win here, be nice to start to pull away from this ridiculous pack in the west...
After seeing that Calgary is 15th in the West in here, I checked the standings and realized that there's only 7 points separating 3rd (ignoring division leader seeding) and 15th. 3 points for 3rd to 11th! In contrast, 7 points gets you from 3rd to 8th in the East and 3rd to 15th is 15. Even more packed in the West than normal so far.
Too many 3 point games in the West. There are already 5 teams in the West with at least 5 "OTL". Another 3 with 4 "OTL".
There are 5 teams in the East with only 1 "OTL" and Pittsburgh as zero.
Overall there are 57 "extra" points in the West and only 37 "extra" points in the East.
Lose to the Jr. Kings 15-0...Wonder what the Flames players did during their free time in LA.
Just want an update on Rick Cannon.
So...what? Why did we recall Toffoli? It's pointless to have him sit in the press box. It's arguably pointless to throw him into a bottom six role. Are we scratching Nolan, King, Clifford? Doesn't make a lot of sense.
I am also concerned about the way the first period unfolds -- the Flames will have had two days to have their discontent and frustration fester, putting a snarl on their faces. In the meantime, the Kings have had two days to kick back and feel like "these guys can't hurt us, we're bulletproof". If it were a playoff series, there would be a natural intensity on the Kings, a motivation to keep the gas pedal on the floor. But even though this is a shortened regular-season, it's still a regular season, so I'm concerned that the Kings might come out flat and/or overconfident, making those defensive breakdowns even more glaring and giving the Flames momentum.I think this game will be a lot closer than other people on this board. In fact I am a little worried that Calgary will come out stronger than we will be able to match.
Watch Brown do the same thing again -- two feet from the goal and instead pass off to Carter for a tip-in.

Pkay, why another 7:00 start? Saturday had a couple of excuses (HNIC and Hrudey night). What is it this time? (not that I;m complaining)
Highly doubt Toffoli plays tomorrow, even if Rick is hurt. Could see Richie finally getting a game if needed. Let Tyler practice with the team before just throwing him in there.
Don't you just Jordan Nolan...
