I don't see a Berggren thread but he's been really good lately imo. He seems to be getting more confident too. Without Sprong, we have zero skill in the bottom six. I'd like to see him get more chances with our best players. I know the points aren't coming and half this forum seems to hate him but he is going to be a really good second line winger/PP player soon enough. If we move him for peanuts in the offseason, I'm going to be irate

And he's basically the same size as Ras, which takes away Rasmussen's only advantage.

I honestly only remembered the Hughes thing when someone brought it up on page 1. I didn't realize their feelings were that hurt about it.

Honestly Ras probably has a picture of it on the ceiling over his bed because it's the coolest thing he's ever done.

I don't know why the Devils felt so intent on payback for Hughes bouncing off the softest 6'6" player in the league.

The skill is there. And for as much crap as he gets about being too small and not good defensively, he's been one of our better battlers/back checkers in the games I've caught. I think he can be a 50-60 point winger if he continues to progress. Those numbers greatly depending on PP time/unit

They'd certainly win more games if their PK was better. That needs to be addressed ASAP.

First game live this year .. honestly I thought they looked pretty solid 5 on 5. Special teams are just horrible. Power play is bad and the PK is worse.
