Lack of emotion, lack of sense of urgency, lack of accountability. I think it’s time to move on from Lalonde. Someone needs to get a fire burning under some of these guys. The bar is set to low today

Super goofy game, 50/50 challenge failed, bunch of bouncers, the bad pair strikes, and uncle benny gives them a 4 min PP gift at the end of 2nd.

Let's just keep losing until lalonde is gone. This team just has the same problems over and over again. It's mind boggling.
It's his rookie season. I think he could definitely still become a top 4 dman. Dmen tend to take longer

I'm starting to agree. Yes the Wings need a better Dman in their bottom 4, but I bet each of those guys would look better on another team.
The running around in their own end is a team-wide problem.

Didn't like the challenge with a goal lead, a 50/50 chance at best and our PK on top of it. Just suck up the original bad call and move on get out of the period with a lead.
Not a super hot take, but we are easily a playoff team with an actual second pairing. Especially stings because we just traded/let walk two top 4 ish type dmen. I know Walman and Ghost had their issues but I'd take them over watching Petry and Chairot lose us games.
I wonder if Yzerman moves a piece for one at the TDL. It's a much easier problem to fix than not having another top pairing dman. Would prefer not a rental of course, but a good dman with term would cost a lot more too.

Like I said I'd love to be wrong, I just haven't seen a lot that's impressed. He's kinda small, doesn't seem particularly fast, doesn't seem to have the great instincts of Seider or Ed.
I'd be happy for him to just be a steady defender but if his height and weight are correct the dudes gonna get pushed around.
That's always kinda been his scouting report though. Won't wow you with anything but a stable dman who can move the puck. That's what I'm hoping for still. It doesn't help that he's paired with Holl.
