I like the homeplate, but I certainly feel they could have done better. It's a marketing homerum (no pun intended) and that's all that matters. It'll be here for a while.
 
I still liked the "lion with sunglasses" part of one of the earlier crests, but I may be the only one.

Here's a trivia question -- what was the Kings' 2011-12 regular-season record when scoring six goals?

I still get a chuckle when Canucks fans try to tell people that their weak-ass division doesn't assist them in their annual Presidents Trophy chase.

If this game doesn't explain why the Canucks are able to rack up so many points...

By the way, the last time L.A. wore these jerseys, they spanked the Avalanche. They need to wear them more often. I hope they become permanent third jerseys.

How is that not in the NHL Tonight highlights? That was a ridiculous potentially goal saving play.

All 4 lines starting to roll. Liking that a lot. Really enjoying watching that 4th line too. Nolan and Clifford have been beasting those board battles.

nhl network sucks, kings games end late and they dont put any extra effort than they have to on pacific time zone games. katherine tappen is the only reason i watch IF i ever watch.

I'm less against the "home plate" / shield / whatever than I am against the super-boring black & white colors.
Black-silver-purple all the way! We need to have purple, it's the color of royalty :D
