Game 23: Kings vs. Flames - 3/9/13 - Fourth Place Kings! Caught Vancouver!

The Kings are now 12th in goals per game at 2.91, just a hair outside of the top ten. We have a better goals/game than the Flyers and Canucks, I didn't see this coming

Man, that was fun! Remember last year when we lost 1-0 on a Cammalleri goal on Charlie Simmer Legends night? Man, what a difference a year makes! My only issues with the boys today were the bad clearing attempts when Calgary would establish themselves in our zone and that weak second goal. Scuderi looked like a chump on that goal. Quick still looked a bit shakey , but I'm not going to criticize him too much since both goals weren't really his fault and he really didn't see much action after we got up 4-2.

Also, the Kings better be ready on Monday because I'm sure the Flames are going to be pissed off they got embarrassed tonight.

I didn't get to watch the 3rd had to read it on the NHL gametracker. He was +3 going into it and came out +1.

Corrected, VV ends up + 1 and continues playing like one of the top 10 dmen in the game without getting any of the notoriety.
