The Quiet Corner
I'm a little worried...

Note: I'm a little worried seeing as how the backup is getting the start for the Bolts tonight. You know what that means...

Oh shit that means a Vezina Trophy caliber performance courtesy of the Bruins

Tukka Time tonight...

No matter if he allows 4 or 5 goals it will not be Tukka's fault. You can blame the following for tonights loss

-Blame Cassidy for not giving Rask enough time to prepare
-Blame Dobby for playing so well thus giving Rask a ton of rest
-Blame the blue line for not playing well
-Blame the injuries for not having a full team out there
-Blame Krecji for getting hurt again
-Blame the Lightning for having a top team
-Blame the vendors for charging 10 dollars for a Molson
-Blame Stamkos for being the best player on the ice
-Blame the Goalie Coach for not prepping Rask properly
-Blame the advance scouting department for not having enough tape on the Lightning backup.
-Blame Bergy/Pasta for not putting up points while waiting for Marchand
-Blame Marchand for being hurt

Just don't blame Tukka Rask for the probable loss tonight because its not his fault. Its never his fault. Ever

Lol, I see one of two possibilities...

"Well, he played okay, can't really blame him for any of those goals..."

OR

He finally steps up, plays like Tuukka Rask, Cassidy looks like a genius and the "not his fault" crowd says they knew it all along! :)

Seriously though, I really hope he plays well. This is a great opportunity and the stage is set for something dramatic; B's are decided underdogs, Rask's abilities are being questioned publicly, best team in the conference coming into town... it really is the perfect time for Rask to step up and remind everyone how good he can be (when he gives a shit). Sorry! Can't help myself. ;-)

Looks like Rask is starting. :skeptic:

Marchand, Backes and Spooner are confirmed in.

Cassidy is smart. He knows Dobby hot streak has an expiration date. I would have also left the table when ahead on that one.

Rask has a great stat line against TB. Let’s hope he’s in top form tonight and that the team don’t give too many PP to Stamkos+Kucherov to bomb away.

Went to the pre game skate. Bergeron, Krug, Chara and even Marchand had been absent. So I think Marchy is good to go for tonight. Bjork got some individual training afterwards by Pandolfo and Sacco with seemed to build up his endurance again. No indication on who will start in net tonight. Tony stayed a little longer on the ice and had a conversation with a team member.

Stayed until the end and then walked into Cehlarik who was waiting for his Uber in front of the arena. Introduced me as a fellow European and wished him some luck for the future. He had a brace on his left knee and some trouble walking. Friendly kid. Hope he can stay healthy in the future

The Bruins make all backups look like prime Dominik Hasek.
We do love to break other teams streaks too don't we , ( losing , goal-less etc) all the while making no- names look like Hart or Vezina candidates .
I see a team with a 9 game losing streak on our schedule after tonight's game ... gulp

Bruins have had the tendency to play to the level of their opponents this season. I think they have a good chance of winning.

The B's will get a W or an OTL/SOL tonight against the mighty Lightning and promptly cough one up to a Flyers team that is reeling to say the least. I can hear the "Fire Hakstol!" chants all the way up here.
