He's been asked to play defense which is not his strong suit. Loved his as a bottom pairing LHD with tons of PP ability. Don't like him as a top 4 guy. Hate him as a top pairing guy.

I said it earlier, but why has Carlo gone from #2 in TOI to #4 seemingly without Chara? Why would you not put your best two defensemen(assuming) Krug and Carlo together?

Edit: Not sure Shattenkirk would've been the answer. I was totally on board at the deadline for something involving Loui for him. Now, with Carlo and McAvoy up and coming and hopefully C. Miller being the bottom RHD, I think we're set there. Plus you add McQ and K. Miller's contracts and the need for a RHD is just not there. Not to mention the assets we'd have to give up and the contract.

Because then you have 35 - 40 minutes of no top 4 d-men on the ice...

I love Krug-Carlo as a pairing... but don't see how they can do that right now.

Provorov's really impressed me so far. Can't say I've noticed Konecny too much, but definitely having a great season.

At home too, nonetheless. They've struggled at home recently. Add Tampa into the equation and I didn't give them much of a chance tbh. Glad I was wrong!

We are supposedly outshooting the flyers 24 to 12. Out of those 24 shots nothing too dangerous for Mason. Once again this team makes goalies look like Vezina candidates.

Mason is playing good but likewise the Caps keeper was horrid against us the other night, some easy ones went in, Hayes scored lol. Now we are facing a guy in net that sees our tumbling muffins
