Dwayne Johnson is self proclaimed franchise Viagra. Can he help this franchise?

Again, as I said the events of the past 6 months have developed an internal organizational battle between the players and the management. The management thinks it has the upperhand, but the players with their clauses have shown they are in charge and this has now snowballed into the on ice product. Trouba was the closest thing to an emotional leader of the team and the org alienated him with the events of the summer. Trouba would be the one to galvanized the group and pull them together but he has checked out and is not going to do that work when he knows he's gone after this season. Drury went amateur and arrogant this summer and it's all showing now.

Drury is an idiot and I've said so from the day he was hired. But. The country club clan sucked the oxygen out of the room for years running this team. Now they are declining and moping. Trouba is stealing 8m a year and skating around with a woe is me look on his face. WTH. Fire them all. Keep the kids but trade anyone of them that has been tainted by the country club attitude.

This team and org needs a fresh start with a new outlook.

Watching the post game, Trouba does have great hair. Would kill for his hair honestly
And a beautiful, and super smart wife.

Now comb back that beautiful doo, grab that beautiful wife by the bum, get in your Audi Q7, and kindly take your awesome life to the other side of the USA.

And.. Don't be alarmed Jacob if you see " a fan" shoe horn K'Andre into the back of those fine leather seats. Head first.

Lastly, don't fight over the hair product you guys

As someone who has had serious confidence issues at work it's not fun. I've been at a decent place when I felt confident and at other jobs I didn't and felt like I was climbing a mountain with a pile of bricks in my backpack for the simplest shit. That's Mika right now times 100. But it's worse than that feels like it's entire roster other than Cuylle and Berard. I don't know how an entire team can just be in some fog where they look like they've never played hockey before. This is largely the same team as last year. I've never seen anything like this.

I interned with the USC football team in 2012 when I was in grad school. They were pre season #1 and had a shit load of steam and hype behind them after they were surprisingly good the year before (I was around for that one as well.)

I have never seen a team unravel the way that one did and it was way worse behind closed doors than anyone ever knew. To be on both sides of it (the swell and excitement on the way up to the deflation and all the agony that followed) has been to this day one of the most fascinating things I've ever experienced. I could legit write a book about those 2 years but some of the stories I have are just not mine to tell.

This Ranger team is no where near that yet, but it is incredible what can happen when the vibes get really bad. Theres a level of maturity and mental toughness that is needed to really get through shit like that and when a group doesn't have it, it really just falls apart.

College aged kids not being able to do it (especially when they were led by a HC who himself really wasn't ready for that job) shouldn't have been too surprising. Would be crazy to see it happen with a veteran laden roster that has (despite what people want to say here) been one of the most successful groups in the league over the last 3 seasons.

At least you can trade players in pro spots but we're even in the position where I don't think the guy who makes the trades should really have the power to do anything too drastic. He's had his chance and he hitched himself to this wagon. This mess is as much on him as it is on his predecessor, if not even more so.

I don't care. He's getting paid millions of dollars to play as good as an AHLer. Our spineless management let him dictate the terms.

Give me millions to play a kids game and I'll go live in Winnipeg. I've lived in worst places for my job.
You guys act like you wouldn’t do that same exact thing if you were in his shoes.

it’s honestly comical lmao

If we could only move Mika and Jake. Jake its somewhat possible but with Mika at year 3 of an 8 year contract with nmc. Can we send Mika to the Wolfpack? Just to make him want to leave.

Somehow Zib ended up playing the 2nd most 5v5 mins of any forward, and Lindgren was 2nd amongst D. I know there was almost no special teams play, but why are 2 of the biggest issues with roster being played so much? Lavi jumbled up the lines after the 1st anyway, it would have been the perfect time to reward a guy like Edstrom (only played 10.22, 2nd last on the team), or even KK who played 2 mins less than Zib

It’s looking like mass psychogenic illness. No physical infectious agent yet everyone falls to the simp toms of one. Hasn’t hit Cuylle and Berard and Ed Strome bc they haven’t been here long enough.

Nope....NMC means he can't be moved in any way without his permission
