I think it was to buy time since the d are either vets, or playing well.

Lindstrom has done well and it's not fair to send him down, so I wonder if they look to facilitate a trade to help a team on the back end. A goalie, likely Primeau and a d.

And he still has some serious NHL worthy qualities. Hell never be a top 6er, but he very wrll still could develop into a useful NHL player. Just very lame how they handled him.

Its not on the goaltender, even if Mann has been weak this game. I counted three chances, one from Trudeau, one from Xhekak and one from Roy/Maillet. Ridiculous.

It's common for a young player to struggle when he is first sent down to the minors.

Last year, Barron was bad at first after Habs sent him down to Laval. He eventually got his shit right and when he got called up, has never returned.

Yes. To be fair to JF Houle, he has a really young team to work with. And that is probably the only reason that gives him a chance to finish the year. But regardless of the young team, it's not looking like they're playing with any jam. It's like they're going through the motions.

Just got home and turned it on. I just cannot believe how this team consistently sucks hard against Belleville EVERY damn year! No matter how much Belleville sucks, Laval finds a way to be worse. It’s so frustrating I want to punch something.

This defence should not be as bad as they are. Most of them are doing a lot worse than years before. They aren't the best in the AHL, but they definitely aren't supposed to be last in the AHL by 11 goals.

Houle is unable to make his D system work.

he's a non prospect to me at this point, brings almost nothing but works hard at least. I said last year I thought they should have put him in 3R vs barely playing on the 4th line but the skating, lack of size, strength, speed are all too much for him. Kidney has similar struggles though he's smarter and more skilled.
