Exactly, lets whine about the secondary scoring in a 1-0 game.

But Luongo can't move side to side without flopping, he gets a pass.

Sorry, but with the glut of gimme chances the Canucks had in this game, I'm blaming scoring. Not necessarily secondary scoring, just scoring. Period.

I'm actually not mad about this loss at all because I'm at peace with the real issue this team has and tonight's game was a big example. A lot of other people are just crying "Why?? Why??".

Another excellent game by the Canucks. They continue to give the opposition very little and the aggressive PK looks excellent as well.

They have outplayed the Sharks 2 straight, outplayed both Phoenix and Anaheim in their own barns and had a tough 30 minutes in Los Angeles. All in all, the team looks well prepared every night, the system is effective and it's now on Gillis to add another impact forward to put this club where it needs to be.

sharks came and took that victory from the canucks.

santarelli, while has been the best face-off player for the canucks, he has no business being there in crunch time taking face-offs. Kesler should have been the one taking it or even Henrik Sedin.

Speaking of henrik, can this guy not hook for at least 1 game?

The work ethic is there. The offensive talent isn't there excluding a few players.

What people don't understand is that come the playoffs, the vast majority of offensive talent tends to get nullified by tight checking. So work ethic is what counts.

That's why I have hope this year, the previous years the team had talent but not the same willingness to grind and work.

Really all we have to do is get as many points as we can and squeeze into the playoffs. Since we're in the west any matchup is going to suck for both sides, this regular season stuff is meaningless except for the team to make pressure and grinding a habit.

Positive post, team needs to dig deep and rip out some wins

I swear there are some people who desperately want the Canucks to lose because that happens they get to start to start rambling about, Gillis, Hodgson, Grabner, Erhoff, Kassian, the Sedins etc.

Nah, but I don't mind admitting that sometimes it's nice when they lose so that you can shove it down the throats of people that jump on you for opinions you stated that ended up being accurate.

Not even remotely, and I have posted numerous statistics to refute any belief we might miss the playoffs. How well we do once we're there is the real concern. We need more offense, i.e., another top six player.

Let's not be so sure. There's a lot of good teams ahead of Vancouver right now. Out of all those teams, I only see Colorado as a potential team to drop out of the top 8. You can post as many statistics as you'd like, but there's a lot of variables unaccounted for in a full season and of course anything can happen.

Not a playoff team following realignment. Pretty simple. Still like Torts hiring though.

This, we're not going to miss the playoffs, but we'll be lucky to make it to the 2nd round based on how we're playing right now.

This team needs a shake-up, big time.

In order to not face a dreaded period like the Flames, etc. we need to make some big changes..

It is scary to think this team is only going to get worse as it gets older moving into upcoming seasons

Well, they don't make band aids for the type of hurt like this.

Stings, can't close out a game.

SJ just continues to troll us.
