I was looking for it to. Wanted to find all the posts I made.

Since it doesn't seem to be available, let me remind everyone of my position at the time.

I said he'd be a stud, that his $3M would be a steal, and that he'd probably outperform Swayman by a significant margin.

The rest of you bozos were bitching about his historical numbers being shit. Do better, you.

And I agreed with you.

The problem is you are paying the other guy over 8 million, who is going to step up and make that decision, interpretation, who has the balls to make that decision.
I don’t think Sacco cares not sure if Sweeney or Neely do . Swayman will get his chance to get it together. There are 8 million reasons why but they won’t let this season slip away if Swayman continues to play poorly. Korpisalo will play .

I liked Zadorov's game last night. Just kept it simple.
You are right, looked like his best game to me, was playing within himself more, did have one bad turnover in his own end late in the game, but overall, very positive. To be honest the D looked good last night seem to be getting the puck out of their end better, one can only hope. I still think Hampus, when he is going can really make difference in this defense.

This thread reminds me of my lunch. Four days a week, I bring something simple, bland, and cheap... Maybe some fresh turkey rolled up w cheese....peanut butter on rye....grilled chicken ceasar no dressing. Friday the company buys lunch. Some Friday's it's great (fancy delis, small pubs). Some Friday's I almost need to pull over at dunks because of stomach cramps (Sarku, Taco Bell)....All Friday's like last night are a win, because lunch is free, you take the good with the bad, but free lunch is always a win.

Are the Bruins a bear or the blind squirrel that found a nut last night. They seemed to skate harder and make some decent set ups but couldn't find the back of the net. Someone once said a 1-0 game is a perfect game. Baby steps or luck? Take the win and hope they start turning things around.

He was their best D this year I felt by far. Moving much better than he did last year.

Yeah, I really think the concussion and broken foot, really took slowed him down, hopefully this injury is quicker heal, and can get back up to speed. Those concussions are different for everyone. Sweeney did right by strengthening the depth on the D, this offseason.

Me too and Kastellic play is making Freddy expendable, although he did seem to take the body more last night

Freddy isn't a bad player and I thought he played fine last night. But when I watch Kastelic play with energy, fire, and willingness to do what it takes physically to get the job done, I wish that was inside Frederic, who has the better package of skills but doesn't play with energy for long stretches. I hope they keep Freddy with Kastelic on the 4th and some of that rubs off on him.

Happy to eat crow on Korpi. I thought it was a huge waste and I'm glad to have been proven wrong 8 starts in.

That said...I refuse to believe that anyone truly saw him outperforming Swayman at this point in the year based on any type of eye-test or analysis, and any gloating is based on nothing but hope (that happened to work out).

For me the most important thing was they competed for almost the entire game. Stood up for themselves and each other. Simplified their game & took far more shots than previously. Let's see if they can continue that against Detroit.

Korpisalo was great & it looks like Goalie Bob has resurrected yet another goaltender's game. Bruins need to pay that man a lot more than he's making.
