“getting better every game” and all the other niceties are all fine and dandy but at some point there needs to be some actual production.
You said it.“getting better every game” and all the other niceties are all fine and dandy but at some point there needs to be some actual production.
No. The puck got knocked off wennberg’s stick and deflected off his skate. He did not “kick it in”. If you’re gonna blame Thrun for not reacting fast enough then you may as well blame Blackwood for not having his paddle down in time.Thrun kicked it into his own net
he'll figure it out. but yea bad moveAm I the only one tired of watching Smith cut back in the O zone to try to evade a defender, then fall and lose the puck to said defender and create an odd man rush against?
Does not work at this level. You have to imagine the coaching staff has told him this, ya?
It works, he's just not strong enough to take the bump. When he is stronger it will work. Don't coach that habit out.Am I the only one tired of watching Smith cut back in the O zone to try to evade a defender, then fall and lose the puck to said defender and create an odd man rush against?

Who would be some examples that can pull this off regularly? Not saying they don’t exist, I just can’t think of anyone save maybe EK65 (though I don't watch a ton of hockey outside the Sharks). It works, he's just not strong enough to take the bump. Smith looks like a roller hockey kid struggling to make the adjustment to ice to me.
