We never play well against the Kings. I might skip this game... rather not ruin a perfectly good Saturday night.

Oh, who am I kidding. I'm watching.

Remember when we had a good lead in the standings against minnesota? Yeah, that's gone now.

At this point I would not be shocked if we miss the playoffs this season.
I still think we will easily make the playoffs, but it would not surprise me considering our coaching/constant injured Kesler.

Would be a good year to do so though. Great draft class, and short season to ease the pain.

A very similar line-up to this did very well to start the season. Kesler will return before the playoffs and so will Bieksa.

I am disappointed to lose Volpatti and add Ebbett, but this shouldn't alter the team's make -up too much. Until there is a lot of WTF muttering in the dressing room I don't care what Gillis does. He does mostly nothing during the season, any way.

I thought with our luck we'd win the Cup this year and have that * beside it as it was a shortened season. Guess that's not going to happen as things stand right now. :(

the day we get an Edmonton Oiler "it doesn't matter as long as we get a high pick" mentality is the day I stop being a Canucks fan. Don't care if we lose, but it's the attitude.

If my calculations are correct...As it stands right now, there is a small chance the Canucks will be out of a playoff spot if they lose Saturday night

I'm all for turning this into a typical AV team. Forget the dmen pinching to try to manufacture cheap offence play how we were earlier this season. Close off lanes, allow shots from the perimeter and clear rebounds. Counter attack if you get the chance rince and repeat

Pray that the Sedins can supply enough offence. This team does not have the guns upfront and it isn't worth having the dmen trying so hard to compensate for it.

Despite another injury to Kesler, it's 20 games in and we have yet to see a good string of games from the team. Only about the same amount of games (28) to fix whatever can be fixed. Not liking the shortened season much. Not enough time to go through the motions.

06-07 all over again!

Just goes to show how huge Kesler is to this team. Wish we had more C depth in the organization.

According to sportsclubstats we're still at 87% to make the playoffs. Before our losing streak, we were at like 96%. Chicago's 100%, lol.

It shows how much he has let this team down really. On paper the team looks okay, but on the ice there's only one line that supplies consistent offence. Schroeders line does well but they aren't producing at all

I'm also one of Schneiders biggest fans, love his style and intelligence but I'd look to trade him with the team we have now. We'd get a better return for him and if we play defensive it will allow Luongo to play more aggressive. Luongo is the best first shot goalie in the league and he won't be exposed on odd man rushes.

If we wanted to keep Schneider and play offensive this would have been a better lineup

Sedin Sedin Burrows
Higgins Hodgson Kesler ( if it wasn't for Hodgsons dad I'd run with Grabner Schroeder Kesler)
Raymond Schroeder Grabner
Weise Lapierre Hansen

Keep Ehrhoff as well ( no Ballard)

More one shot scorers and still got speed to burn
