calling what you see but not using common sense or acknowledging an example when given to you.Calling what I see. I'm aware of the possibility of having my own bias and trying to account for it. I don't think Canada would have accepted what Andersson did like Sweden did.
Ignore that I misread.Just no injuries was all I wanted... didn't care if Canada won by 5. Even predicted a 5 goal win. I don't blame the refs. I don't care about the score. Canada looks great... I hope they do well. But to review:
We lost our best winger, Lauko, 6 seconds into our first game against Russia
We lost our best Centre (player) at the end of the 2nd period to the States. Jenik.
Somewhere Dostal got hurt and he was our starting goalie.
No idea when our 2C got hurt, Sir, but he's out too
Now we've lost our 2nd goalie in the first period
Malik is a good goalie and him playing itsn't that upsetting but who comes in if he gets hurt?
We are missing our 3 best players, backup goalie and have 10 guys on the bench.
True, in a hockey excitement manner. Not much to enjoy in this one.
He was amazing, an NHL legend for sure. We've got Hasek all geared up. He's our secret weapon.
Yeah accidental spear to the nuts.Ignore that I misread.

I'm pleased that Canada is winning but these are somewhat unfortunate circumstances. I certainly hope that there aren't any more injuries for the Czechs.
Well when you're 19 and your country has only won the tournament once in the last 16 years, I suppose even a 5-0 goal is exciting.
He was amazing, an NHL legend for sure.
You hate to see a bunch of injuries for any team, especially the Czechs who played very good games against Russia and USA. They were already my 2nd fav country in International tournaments (Was a die hard Hemsky fan back in the day)

Hemsky had those moves like Jag(g)er.. Beautiful player to watch back in the day.
I think it's too stagnant against better teams that have seen some tape and understand where Canada is trying to open lanes and get the puck. Would like to see the bumper used more as well but without more player movement and faster puck movement it's tricky to get the puck in there. The other teams must know by know that Canada favours feeding the one timer off the right circle. How many of their PP goals are from there? Gotta show more variation.
I have no idea what he is out with... I've never read what happened. I do hope the Czechs invest in a lot of bubblewrap and wrap him in it until the quarter against Sweden though!I thought he was sidelined with an illness?
I didn't, so obviously I'm not saying that.Every citizen in Canada turned on Comtois?
No.
Comment of the thread so far... well done!lmaoCzechs may want to reconsider their mirror breaking pre-game ritual.
Should mention.. beauty period by Canada. I don't care if they win 55-0... just no more injuries please!
