Not what I've seen. Sweden's response to Andersson was the opposite of what would happen in Canada.

When Sweden lost to belarus in 2002 one of the newspapers had the team in these bonnie and clyde like pictures with the caption "traitors" or something like that.

I mean cmon, you think fans of other teams don't do that shit when they lose a huge game in a sport that means a lot to them?
