Just like last game, Milbury gave the Rangers absolutely no credit. In between the 2nd and 3rd period, he said the Islanders bad bounces lead to Ranger scoring chances and the goal we scored was a lucky one. Please try to assault another kid and get fired.

Entertaining and generally well-played game. I'll keep saying it: I hope we keep our core (which of course includes Callahan and Danny-G) intact. Our guys have adjusted and battled adversity individually (like Nash and Mats have) and collectively (while adapting to a new system). Stay resilient, stay positive and stay professional, boys.

Game was hard to watch for the first two periods. Third was better. Just nice to get the win, though.

Hank, Carcillo, and Boyle were my 3 stars.

Not to rain on the parade, most of the team played well. Stralman and Staal have been dynamite the past few games after a slow stretch, Nash and Stepan have picked it up too. But I'm concerned with Klein's game and I still cringe that the Rangers gave up MDZ for him. Not sure what he was doing on that Isles goal. To make matters worse, he has a -15 Corsi differential over his first few Rangers game while MDZ has a +13 rating with the Predators. That's a pretty brutal start to the trade.

Stop with advanced stat nonsense. Klein is a
Solid player. MDZ is not. Nuff said; turn the friggin'
Page.

OMG we get it you like DZ your a fan of his, but DZ is gone turn the page & accept the fact that DZ was never going to live to his potential as a NYR & be happy we got back a decent return.

The Islanders carried the play in the first half of the game and the Rangers the play in the second half.

Dan 'the game winner' Carcillo. Henrik had a really nice game--best player on the ice. Zucc tied again for the team lead in points. This was a big win for us. A big loss for the Isles. If we can follow this up by beating them again next game--they're going to be hurting.

"I don't agree with this, therefore it is nonsense!!!11"

- This post (albeit with superior grammar)

I'm on my phone on the way home from the game.. As for his Corsi argument; it's a flawed metric and once I'd
To see that poster say something inciteful about what he experienced while watching the game. Klein played solid.

Klein was solid, I agree.

Doesn't mean you can just discount a statistic because...why are you discounting it again? Oh yeah, you don't have any tangible argument to discredit it, you just yell at people like a homeless person telling them "IT'S GARBAGEE111".

BTW, seriously I watched the Jack Capuano press conference and there was that kid again. Anyone else confused? Did a kid win some sort of contest, did a kid get into the press conference somehow, is it an adult with a kid's voice? The unconfident manner he's asking questions seems to point to him being a kid too. I need answers damn it!

 Now I am a bit curious myself. Btw. Killem... Rook mistake dude. Editing posts but not editing quoted posts? More

Byron Boyd has been physical in the last two games. I don't know how, but it's true. Byron has 2 big hits against NJD and then 2 tonight including his game winning hit.

What a great win, especially on a night where it took a while to get going.

The entire top 4 was terrific tonight, especially Girardi and Staal.

Hank with some big saves late. No surprise there.

It's so nice to have secondary scoring for a change.

It's also great to see we've been winning lately with Callahan being rather unnecessary. If he was one of the players carrying our team I'd worry that Sather would keep him for one last run with him. Not only are we winning but we can PK and run a PP decently without him too it seems. It may just put trading him in stone.
