I'm really surprised Brassard only got 3 other votes besides me...to me he was by far and away our best player...what a monster game.

Anyone else surprised there wasn't something manufactured there at the end like a penalty shot out of nowhere in the last 2 seconds?

I've got to say one thing that's concerning me is the play of Carl Hagelin. I know he scored on sunday, but that honestly seemed like a gift from Martyr Brodeur. Other than that, he's been scary ineffective, and not looking like an option for the top six at all.

He's Peter Pan!

Staal, Boyle and Hank were the 3 best players IMO. McDonagh and Girardi contained Tavares' line well for a change, which was excellent.

Stepan should be bag skated till he pukes for that empty net attempt. What a god damn moron, he was literally the smartest player in the NCAA a short 4 years ago.

Hagelin and Richards were awful. Callahan had a huge shot block and threw his weight around, but was pretty bad as well. I think this line needs to be broken up. Hagelin playing without a doubt the worst hockey of his career.

Decent 1st, below average 2nd, good 3rd. When reality kicks in and you realize against anybody but us the Islanders are a **** team, the Rangers should have won this one and they did.
Like I said in the GDT"Swap Zucc and Cally"

Taking obvious penalties in situations like that is probably coached into guys - see also Ben Bishop hacking at one of our guys' ankles (and getting away with it). My black helicopters explanation for Nash on the PK is we need to see which of our fringe guys can take Callahan's minutes, but it could have been the combination of the ice + their PP looking like ass making going for a shorty more worthwhile

Come on man. Give it a bit more time.

Sure, but his previous line of work in Nashville is pretty concerning as well.

uhh, he has played three games. We won two of them. J Moore's game has steadily improved the past couple of games since he has been inserted in the lineup.

I'll have to respectfully disagree. The team has been playing well, but I don't think Klein has.

Eh, I'm not worried about him yet... Remember what the rest of the Rangers D looked like at the very beginning of the season? Maybe I'm placing too much importance on the whole "adjust to a new defensive system" thing but Klein will have to adapt, which will take some time.

I guess the only thing to do is cheer him on, but I'm not expecting big things unfortunately.

How old is that guy that asked about Carcillo? He sounds like he's about 10 years old. Prepubescent voice and nervously blundered through the question.

That would be a woman i believe, lol.

And whoever talked about Stan, i agree. What a dick

Edit: i gues that was you haha

Stan Fishler needs to shut the **** up. In what world did they outplay us? Maybe the first half of the 2nd and that's it. Shut up you old ****!

Yeah, he's a moron. I'm surprised people still listen to what comes out of his mouth.

Mint, I'm surprised you even watch the games when you can just read statistics.

No need to be surprised, it's part of my hobby. Stats in particular are my passion, in most sports. I spent countless hours designing, analyzing, understanding and interpreting predictive models based on future and current team and player performance.

Lol Stan Fischler is senile. These questions he asks are so ridiculous. That's the one thing I miss about Torts is when stan would ask a question and Torts would pause and say "next question"?

Such a cool experience. Thought I was gonna lose some toes in the first but popped some feet Warmers in and was good to go for the rest of the game

Awesome experience being there. Glad the boys tied it up quick and played a great third period defensively. Hank was great.

Can we play every game outdoors?

I like numbers and stats too as some people here know (mostly probability and stuff), but it seems like every post of yours is about Corsi. What's the point of watching then?
