Lindgren is starting to break down and Jones still green I think an area to upgrade significantly is 2LD. A big strong puck mover who can play in front of the net.
 
So where were you all on this day back in 05 when Lundqvist got his very first NHL win at the Garden?

Seems like a lifetime ago. I was in our living room not long after moving to Calgary, watching on our 36inch CRT TV, telling the wife that he was the goalie of the future for NYR. (at the time she probably rolled her eyes but actually ended up loving Henrik...probably for obvious reasons lol)

How blessed are we to have gone from Hank to Igor. No wonder teams like the Leafs and Oilers hate us when they can't get one goalie like that yet alone 2 in a row.

Poor Habs. Lundqvist > Price career but man that Price Hart season was insane. Hell of a goalie. Now they transition to ... Jake Allen. Not all are as lucky as us in nets. The first 15 years of being a Rangers fan post lockout I got to watch Hank and now (hopefully) for the next 15 I get to watch Igor. Insanity.

Any new Rangers fans, cherish Igor while hes here. I know I will alot more after watching how Hank came and went in the 15 years that seemed like 5 when you look back.

gosh, 10th grade. I was probably out with my friends, to be honest.

Holy shit look at the cap hits for the Parise/Suter buyouts the next few years for the Wild. Glad we didn't follow the 12-15 year contract fad when it was big.

We did give Richards a 9 year deal. We were lucky for the compliance buyout on that one. He still gets paid until 2026.
