That makes MUCH more sense.
It would have made much more sense to have Dach practice at center if the intent was to play him there.

It's not as if Monahan needs more reps there.

Gotta be another of them "outside the box" methods.

There's a big difference between 8-12 and top 5. You are basically saying nothing. Last year:

1. Montreal - 55 pts
2. Arizona - 57 pts
3. Seattle - 60 pts
4. Philly - 61 pts
5. New Jersey - 63 pts

8. Detroit - 74 pts
9. Buffalo - 75 pts
10. Anaheim - 76 pts
11. San Jose - 77 pts
12. Columbus - 81 pts

Saying they'll finish bottom 1/3 is a meaningless statement, it's almost as pointless as saying you think they'll miss playoffs. Maybe they finish 5th or 6th? Possible.

Ok think real hard about this one. What about 7th?

You think the 4 current Centers will play the whole season without an injury? Might as well have you relief pitcher ready.

Is anyone convulsing prematurely at the thought of watching another game with those CGI boards coming on and off randomly and interfering with game action?

All of a sudden, ads on jerseys don’t look so bad.

Merci, Geoff!

Thanks also to the rest of his money-grubbing owner-accomplices who are hellbent on killing our viewing enjoyment of the game at home, by compromising as many pixel clusters they can get at, for revenue purposes.

I just heard a news item earlier today where Bettman confirmed that the league’s coffers are now in good health, the worst is behind them. But that didn’t stop owners from implementing more ad revenue irritants.
Hate it. And I figured I wouldn't like the RBC advert on the jersey but it's worse. So bloody distracting that blue on red. Used to be such a sharp, beautiful and classy jersey.

No one thinks that.

All those lost man-games from last season say that you can't plan on an injury-free season.

Are those ads only displayed on TV or in person too? Are they like those super annoying ads we used to have on the glass?

On TV only. The idea was to create a new source of revenue from different advertisers than the ones with the fixed board ads at the arena.

I'm sure there had to be some kind of abatement for the loss of TV visibility for those with fixed board ads.

Thanks.

Was wondering how massive of a distraction that crap would be to the players

Ugh - I forgot with ESPN+ that they only show the home team's feed, so I have to watch this Wings B.S. all night.

Hope we slaughter them.

Get Slafkovsky away from Gallgher he creates zero offense...he is battler a grinder he does not make players better and take Dvorak off his line as well.
They talked about wanting the kid to learn play more north-south, hard to find more-so than Gallagher.

If Gallagher doesn’t pass or give the puck to the other team and at least clears it out or dumps it, it’s a huge step in the right direction for that line.

I agree. He’s perfect. But he needs to stop his giveaways.

I think we start our descent tonight. Wings win. Not even close. Eager to see Soderblom.
There looks to be an advent of bigger specimens in pro sports.

Another is Erling Haaland in soccer. The guy is a freak of nature, he runs like an animal. I'd put my money on him to beat a chasing bear.

Speed however, is not Soderblom's strong suit.
